About Me

I have been an artist my entire life. I started working as a professional photographer in 2005, inspired in large part by my great aunt, Margaret Bourke White.  I never met her though. She died well before I was born.

Do you believe in reincarnation?

Do you remember being in your mother's womb?

Do you remember the first time you floated?

Do you remember the first time you fell in love?

Do you know where your soul will go after this world?

Where do you want "it" to go?

My current works serve as offerings, spirit objects/images, burial ships or totems, or "mind objects/mind images" depending on your personal experience or spiritual holdings. In various mythologies and cultural traditons, there are objects that are believed to be brought into the afterlife. I explore not only the carrying of objects into the afterlife, but also wishes, desires, visions, and memories.

The element of water for me holds many personal meanings and feelings, from the safety of the mother's womb to the weightlessness of deep space, two distant concepts that could also be seen as one, or as a portal between worlds.
